I think it is naïve for anyone to believe that helicopter parenting is somehow going to disappear in the years to come. I wish it were true, but it’s not. The fight to educate and change hovering behaviour is ongoing. I engage in this fight continually, not without positive results, but the war continues none the less.
I came upon a story in the LA Times from last year that I would like to share with my readers. It is a true story, a bit extreme, but it illustrates what can happen if you are not more careful.
